Stan Tekiela est un naturaliste, auteur et photographe états-unien. Il est diplômé de l'Université du Minnesota en Sciences naturelles et membre de plusieurs Sociétés savantes, dont la Minnesota Ornithologists' Union et 'Canon Professional Services.
Stan Tekiela étudie et photographie la vie sauvage partout aux États-Unis ; il a reçu de nombreuses récompenses régionales et nationales pour ses ouvrages de photographie. Il est également journaliste, contribuant à plus de 25 périodiques, et homme de radio, on peut l'entendre sur de nombreuses stations du Midwest.
