On retombe donc sur la fonction de réaction précédente. On voit que la banque centrale ne prend en compte que l'inflation et se moque des mesures du chômage ou du PIB, alors que sa fonction de perte en tient compte ! Cibler l'inflation suffit donc parfaitement pour obtenir un résultat optimal au niveau de l'écart de production.
