This subminiature twin lens reflex was manufactured in Austria in the 1950's. Being situated between East and West it is thought that the camera was easily obtained by the espionage services on both sides of the 'Iron Curtain'. The camera is designed to operate with the right hand, with exposure and wind-on being performed by one finger, the other hand could then be used to turn the pages of the document being copied. The 16mm film cartridges are very small and therefore easily concealed. The camera itself is about the size of a cigarette packet.
