- Le manuel standard est indépendant de la langue de l'utilisateur il est toujours écrit en anglais.
- Il est toujours placé dans le répertoire /usr/share/man/man1/annex.1.gz
- annex.1.gz est la compression de annex.1 avec gzip
- on peut afficher ce manuel, si il existe, avec la commande :
man /usr/share/man/man1/annex.1.gz
Les scripts des manuels traduits ont des noms tels que annex_fr.1 et une fois compressés ils prennent pour nom annex.1.gz et sont placés dans des sous répertoires de langues comme /usr/share/man/fr_UTF-8/man1/annex.1.gz

Application directories must be created by the users_install_annex.sh

installed
The directory of the book must be created and must contain the wiki‐
codes of the compilation or the summary or the content of the book.
This work can be simplified with the shell command pre-annex <full-
url> of book or compilation.
DESCRIPTION
This manual page explains the annex program. This program allows you to
create the Appendix pages of Wikibooks books.
annex is created for users of wikibooks who wish to print their books
by means of their own
OPTIONS
? This option print the syntax of the command
-v Verbose mode
-pb Creates a custom version of the images with data from the Medi‐
awiki Wikibooks server.
-pb Creates a custom version of the images with data from the Medi‐
awiki Commons server.
EXIT STATUS
The application normally returns the value 0 and a different value in
case of errors.
ERRORS
The most common errors can be caused by command line capacity over‐
flows. It may be interesting, exceptionally, to create a page at the
root of the server and create a redirect to a longer page, in order to
unblock the command line. It would be better to rename the name of the
too long page to the root of the Wikibooks site with a shorter name.
